Noah Wyle of 'ER' fame and his makeup artist wife Tracy have discovered they love ranch life.
Approximately seven years ago, the couple purchased the former property of Bo Derek along with some adjacent land for about $2.5 million. They are loving it so much they want to spend all their time on the 45 acre ranch with its 5,000 square foot home, two caretaker apartments, a barn and horse arena.
That meant unloading the Los Feliz gated home they had owned for about two and a half years. So, it's now been sold at close to $4.4 million. Built in 1934, the home features five bedrooms, four and one-half baths and a recent addition by architect Gas Duffy. It has a new media screening theater, guest house, office and beautifully landscaped setting with a pool, koi pond, patio, fire pit and great city views. The traditional style home had been originally designed by architect Paul Williams and presented as a wedding gift to Rodney Pantages and his wife, from Dad Alexander Pantages, an impresario and theater chain owner.
Noah Wyle was a series regular on the hit TV show 'ER' from its 1994 debut, leaving after 11 years to spend more time with his family. He is scheduled to return for several episodes playing the character Dr. John Carter. His acting skills earned him Emmy Award nominations for the first five seasons as well as several Screen Actor Guild Awards and nominations. Wyle met his wife, the former Tracy Warbin, on the set of the movie 'The Myth of Fingerprints' in 1996.
