Coldplay, Pussycat Dolls To Perform At MTV Movie Awards
Two big acts have agreed to perform at the upcoming 17th annual MTV Movie Awards. The cable channel has announced that Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls will take the stage at the event. Coldplay, led by frontman Chris Martin, is expected to perform "Violet Hill" off their upcoming album "Viva La Vida," while the Pussycat Dolls will sing their new song "When I Grow Up." Leading this year's batch of MTV Movie Award nominees is the comedy "Superbad," followed by "Juno." The 17th annual MTV Movie Awards will air live June 1st on MTV from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. They will be hosted by actor-comedian Mike Myers. Winners will be chosen through a viewer vote. Votes can be cast before May 23rd at MovieAwards.MTV.com. |
