Pharmacists Urge People To Get Flu Vaccine
(Undated) -- Flu season is fast approaching and both pharmacists and doctors are urging U.S. residents to get vaccinated against the virus. Manager of Alberton's Adult Immunization Program Jeff Breager [[ BRAY-ger ]] says it's important to get vaccinated as quickly as possible because flu season can start at the beginning of October and run until March. Breager also says the flu vaccine does not cause people to get the flu, although some may experience symptons similar to the virus. When asked why that may happen Breager says it may take a day or so for the body to adjust to the vaccine. |
