Jason Aldean Ready To Take Charge On CMT Tour
Jason Aldean is now getting his turn as a headliner. The singer is leading the bill on the CMT On Tour '08 trek, which begins in Cullowhee, North Carolina Wednesday night. Aldean says he knows that as the top act he's carrying the bulk of the responsibility for the tour's success. But he notes that he's up for the task.
CMT On Tour '08 also features Lady Antebellum. Group members say they're excited to be a part of the trek, and add that they're looking forward to performing for Aldean's fans. In addition, they anticipate learning a thing or two from the headliner. The trio's Hillary Scott praises Aldean as "such a pro" who will challenge her group to "raise our game." Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley adds, quote, "We're definitely going to try to bring a high-energy show. Jason puts on such a rockin' show that we don't want to come out there singing 'Kum Ba Yah.'" The 20-date trek, which also includes sets from Eric Durrance, runs through a November 22nd show in Bangor, Maine. |
