Beyonce Drops Two New Songs On Same Day
Beyonce is showing two sides of herself as she prepares to release her new CD. The singer-actress dropped a pair of singles Wednesday. The first one is a ballad titled "If I Were A Boy."
It features Beyonce singing about guys who like to drink beer and chase women. However, in the chorus, B says if she became a male that she would treat her girl better. The other tune is an upbeat track called "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)."
In "Single Ladies," Beyonce talks about going out to the club after parting ways with a man. Both songs are slated to appear on her upcoming disc "I Am...," due out on November 18th. Beyonce will also hit the big screen, portraying singing legend Etta James in the upcoming film "Cadillac Records." The film is about legendary music label Chess Records and hits theaters on December 5th. |
