Brooks & Dunn's Kix Brooks is helping out those recovering from catastrophic injuries. The singer is set to headline the Mending Limbs Concert, a benefit for the Amputee Coalition of America, taking place in Nashville on Sunday. Other scheduled performers include Jennifer Hanson and Baillie and The Boys.
Wynonna, Ricky Skaggs, Amy Grant and a host of other celebrities will be on hand to honor Christian singer Michael W. Smith's 25 years in music. The event will take place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville on Sunday. It's being described as a cross between the old "This Is Your Life" show and the Kennedy Center Honors. Also expected to attend are the Reverend Franklin Graham and author Max Lucado.
On the Grand Ole Opry this weekend: Kenny Rogers, Darryl Worley, Lorrie Morgan and other Opry greats. |
