The accolades continue to roll in for Taylor Swift. She was among the honorees at Tuesday night's BMI Country Country. Her hit "Teardrops on My Guitar" was named Song of the Year at the event. The ceremony also featured a tribute to Hank Williams Jr., who received the BMI Icon award. Casey Beathard, whose credits include Kenny Chesney's "Don't Blink," George Strait's "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls," and Rodney Atkins' "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)," took Songwriter of the Year honors.
John Rich was among those who took part in Tuesday's rededication of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. He was among the performers at the 90-minute Veterans Day ceremony in New York. Rich sang "The Good Lord And The Man," a patriotic song his grandfather wrote that he's planning to include on his upcoming solo album. |
