Elton John, Billy Joel Planning Another "Face To Face" Tour
Elton John and Billy Joel will be hitting the road together again. During an appearance on ABC's "The View" Tuesday, John confirmed the proposed tour, saying that he and Joel plan to spend the next two years performing together on what he called an "on and off" international trek. He added that they'll launch their collaborative dates in March, playing in "select cities." The piano men began working together back in 1994 and wrapped up their last road trip together in 2003. John noted that ticket prices for upcoming shows will be comparable to the trek five years ago, which topped out at 175-dollars. He explained, quote, "It's two people for the price of one. Our ticket prices are the same as you'd see anyone else, but there's two of us. In this day and age, we hope to be getting people value for their money." Specifics on tour dates and ticket availability haven't been announced yet. |
