Kiss' Gene Simmons just might be smarter than a fifth grader. The rocker was featured on the Fox primetime game show "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" last week, and raised 500-thousand-dollars for the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatrics AIDS Foundation. Simmons supported the same charity when he took part in NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice," which aired earlier this year.
Carlos Santana and Jose Feliciano are among those slated to take part in the Latin Grammy Awards. The two are expected to team up with Gloria Estefan for a performance during the ceremony. The awards honor the best in Latin Music released between July 1st, 2007 and June 30, 2008. The 9th annual Latin Grammy Awards will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and air Thursday night on Univision starting at 8:00 pm Eastern. |
