Kenny Rogers Launches Holiday Tour This Weekend
Kenny Rogers is set to begin his annual holiday tour. It's the veteran performer's 27th Christmas trek, which he calls "the most fun concert series of the whole year." Rogers notes that he enjoys these shows so much because, quote, "it's a chance for us to do Christmas music, new and old, that has special meaning to all of us." The singer says it's great, quote, "to feel the Christmas spirit in the audience," adding that crowds are "totally different" at this time of year. While the performances will be packed with songs of the season, Rogers will also treat concertgoers to such fan favorites as "The Gambler," and "Lady." While most of the "Christmas & Hits" tour stops are north of the border this year, Rogers will be bringing his holiday show to ten U.S. cities. The trek will begin in Victoria, British Columbia on Sunday.
