Rihanna Cancels Concert Fearing Safety
Rihanna will not be playing her scheduled concert in Indonesia Friday due to concerns about her safety. According to "The Jakarata Post," the singer's event spokesperson, Troy Waroka says the show will be postponed until January or February of next year. The sudden decision to nix the performance came after the execution of three convicted terrorists in Indonesia on Sunday. The country has been put on high security alert, but Waroka adds that Indonesian security has not been supportive of Rihanna and her concert. All ticket holders for the sold-out show are expected to receive full refunds.
