"Idol" David Cook Releases Debut Album Tomorrow
The long awaited album from "American Idol" winner David Cook finally hits stores tomorrow. The singer tells "People" magazine he plans to celebrate his self-titled debut album with a performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York. He says he's hoping for a very busy year and is ready to move forward. The release day of Cook's album comes one week after David Archuleta dropped his debut effort. With Archuleta being Cook's runnerup on Fox's "American Idol," the two friends joked about November being a "Battle of the Davids" month with both their album releases.
In other Cook news, the singer is opening up about his relationship with "Idol's" season two finalist Kimberly Caldwell. He says he finds some peace with her as she understands the craziness of living as an "Idol." He adds, quote, "She's a nice break from all the chaos." |
