YouTube Video Claims Miley Cyrus Is Dead
Miley Cyrus fans can rest assured that she is perfectly safe and sound after a YouTube video erroneously claimed she had been killed by a drunk driver. According to E! News, a hacker broke into Miley and her best friend Mandy Jiroux's YouTube account to post the story. The alleged hacker took on the persona of Mandy for the message that read, quote, "We're very hurt to tell everyone this, but Miley died this morning after being hit by a drunk driver." Mandy says the two-minute-long message, posted on Sunday, is completely fabricated. She dispelled the story on her official Myspace page, saying she's unable to get back into the YouTube account at the moment but wants to let everyone know that Miley is okay. |
