Barker Returns For TRL Farewell
Travis Barker is doing well. The Plus 44 drummer used the MTV "TRL" finale Sunday night to make his first public appearance since the horrific plane crash he escaped earlier this fall. The drummer thanked fans for their tremendous support and stated that he's now picked up the sticks and returned to his musical love. He explained, quote, "I'm already playing my drums again and I'm already back in the studio. It was like riding a bike. It was really exciting to know I still have my chops. It still felt good. I still can make it around the kit. Everything felt right, so I'm thankful to be ready to play." Barker's Plus 44 bandmate Mark Hoppus recently stated that the band was taking a break until Barker could return, but hinted that the band might be back in action fairly soon. |
