Michael Jackson Sued By Bahrainian Royal
Pop king Michael Jackson is facing a nearly ten-million dollar lawsuit from the King of Bahrain's son. The BBC reports Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa seeks the money from Jackson claiming he didn't follow through on a promise to create an album for his label. Jackson stayed with the royal for six months back in 2003 for a relaxation period after being cleared in a child molestation trial. The sheikh says Jackson agreed to the record deal as a way to pay back the money he loaned him during the financially tight time. The suit is being heard at the High Court in London. Jackson continues to struggle financially. The lawsuit comes on the heels of the star giving up his infamous Neverland ranch in Santa Barbara, California.
