John Travolta: Miley Cyrus Is The Next Olivia Newton-John
Teen sensation Miley Cyrus is the next Olivia Newton-John. That's according to John Travolta who co-starred with Newton-John in the hit 1978 movie-musical "Grease." Travolta now co-stars alongside Cyrus in the upcoming Disney flick "Bolt." He tells "Entertainment Tonight," quote, "The effect that Miley's making globally is so huge. Like Olivia, she's everybody's fantasy." Cyrus wrote a duet for her and Travolta whose voices are heard behind the main characters of the animated flick. She says while it isn't usually hard for her to write songs, she felt a little more pressure writing for the likes of Travolta. The two perform the song "I Thought I Lost You" together in the movie. Travolta provides the voice for Bolt, a super-dog who is accidentally shipped from Hollywood to New York City. Cyrus is the voice of Bolt's owner Penny. "Bolt" hits theaters this Friday, November 21st. |
