Vines Drop Tour Amidst Nicholls' Issues
The Vines' once promising career is taking another hit. The band has called off their upcoming shows due to singer Craig Nicholls' declining condition. The vocalist suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, and his situation has largely kept the band off the road since support of their second album. In a statement at their website, the band says, quote, "Craig Nicholls' mental condition has deteriorated extremely rapidly over the past month to the point where he requires immediate help over an extended period of time." Drummer Hamish Rosser adds that the group extends their sincerest apologies for the tour cancellations and states that they are absolutely devastated at the moment. |
