White House Calls For More Accountability
(Washington, DC) -- President Obama's Health and Human Services Secretary says the White House is digging deep into the financial practices of the country's leading health insurance companies. In a meeting with insurance executives yesterday, Kathleen Sebelius says she wants to see more accountability. She urged insurance companies to post their profits, executive compensation and advertising expenses online for the world to see. The meeting comes as President Obama works to push healthcare reform across the finish line. |
