Axl Rose Rails Against Brazilian Bottle Thrower
Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose had some choice words for a concert goer in Sao Paulo, Brazil over the weekend. Blabbermouth.net reports that when the rockers played Sao Paulo on Saturday night, someone in the audience allegedly hurled a bottle on stage. The alleged incident took place during GNR's opening number -- "Chinese Democracy" -- and led to Rose stopping the show. Rose then engaged in an expletive-laden rant, threatening to leave, and referring to the audience member in question as a, quote, "coward." In the end the show did go on, however, with the band playing to the crowds at Sao Paulo's Palmeiras Stadium.
Guns N' Roses is currently trekking through South America. The band will play dates in the region through April 1st. |
