Pennywise Committed To The Band
Pennywise is on their first tour with Zoli Telgas as their new permanent frontman. The vocalist is replacing the band's longtime frontman Jim Lindberg, who left last fall after nearly 20 years with the group. Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge says losing Lindberg wasn't easy, but he notes the remaining band members are still committed to Pennywise. Dragge adds that Pennywise has a core group of devoted fans which keeps the band motivated.
Pennywise kicked off a short series of West Coast dates with a show in San Diego, California Wednesday night, and the group performed in Ventura, California on Thursday. Pennywise will take the stage in Chico, California on Friday, and wrap up the four-date run in Reno, Nevada on Saturday. Next month Pennywise will launch a European tour. The three-week overseas trek begins in Belgium on April 24th. |
