Food Vendors At Stadiums Fall Short In Inspections
(Undated) -- Sports fans who love eating food at ball games as much as watching the game itself may want to think again about their stadium order. According to ESPN's ''Outside the Lines," health department inspection reports at MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA stadiums have uncovered many fouls in food violations. Among the findings are mold, cockroaches, mice droppings and unwashed hands. The worst offenders are Tropicana Field, home to the Tampa Bay Rays, and Verizon Center in Washington, DC, home to the Wizards and Capitals. One-hundred percent of vendors at those stadiums were found to be in violation of health inspection standards.< |
