Herbie Hancock To Appear On "Letterman," Promoting "Imagine Project"
Herbie Hancock fans can look for the jazz great on late night TV early next week. Hancock is the musical guest on CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman" next Tuesday, August 3rd. His appearance coincides with his promotion of "Herbie Hancock: The Imagine Project." The CD and accompanying film involves vocalists and musicians from around the world collaborating with Hancock on various recordings. Among them is a rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine" that features singers Pink and India Arie, guitarist Jeff Beck, Malian musician Oumou Sangare, and Congan ensemble Konono Number One.
